I have been wanting to go to South America for a long time now! Being Expat for over 7 years, we choose to travel in the region we live in. We went to Malaysia & Singapore when we lived in Vietnam, and to Sri Lanka see Elephants & Namibia when I was in Dubai. Now that we are in the Caribbean, it does make sense to stay in the region too and Argentina came to mind. Though, from St Lucia airlift is a little of a challenge ☹
We have a friend living in Santo Domingo so we have decided to split the holidays in 2: Dominican Republic first, and then Argentina. So we used Santo Domingo as our hub to go to Argentina.
We flew Copa Airlines from Santo Domingo to Buenos Aires via Panama and I was happily surprised! The planes aren’t especially big for 7.5 hours flight, but the service and the food are great!
This is the trip we did in Argentina
As our time was limited, and for a big country such as Argentina we decided to skip the idea of a bus transportation and go for the plane. We found direct flights for each way with Aerolineas Argentinas, which was all about 1.5 hours each.
Our Argentina Trip includes 4 places, all completely different from one another: a world capital, the most important wine region in Argentina, Andes Stunning Landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A trip you will not forget!
Here is a photography roundup 🙂
